Senate Builders paired with Boro Construction for the construction of the new 95,0000 sq. ft Aircraft Maintenance Instructional Facility at the Eastern Army National Guard Aviation Training site. The building was completed in November 2016. The project required coordination from the companies for the various tasks to construct the building including site development, concrete work, masonry, metals, thermal and moisture protection, doors and windows, finishes, specialty equipment, mechanical, electrical, and communications work. The new facilities include: hangar areas, specialized shops, and a two-story administrative office for flight operations and maintenance. The building includes Aviation Life Support equipment, training areas, locker rooms, toilet rooms, and showers.The site includes large concrete paving areas for helicopter parking and maneuvering. There are new roadways, site lighting, signage, and anti-terrorism/force protection measures.
